Tools For Video Content Development
Video is not (currently) recommended for use on student computers with less than 28.8 Kbps, due to small image size and inappropriate accommodation of motion, even with streaming, excepting short video segments with little motion.
Streamable video can be developed using a computer with a video capture card, a video camera, a video editor, and a software tools such as RealProducer (from RealNetworks) for transformation of video to streamable form. Expert assistance or considerable training in setting up and doing video content development is recommended.
